This project focused on adaptive MIMO strategies for atmospheric optical communication systems.
The research addressed free-space optical links affected by atmospheric propagation impairments, with emphasis on diversity, channel variability, adaptive transmission strategies and system-level performance.
The project represents one of the foundations of the WOCLab research activity in atmospheric optical wireless communications and free-space optical link analysis.
