Optimization of spot-diffusing wireless optical systems by single-channel receivers; [Optimización de sistemas ópticos de difusión multipunto mediante receptores de canal único]
Abstract
In this paper, we present design criteria optimizing the performance of spot-diffusing wireless optical systems by single-channel receivers. In particular, we propose different rules to jointly choose multispot transmitter and single-channel receivers parameters. By numerical simulations, we apply the proposed criteria to two systems operating in a roomwith natural light, obtaining excellent results in terms of power efficiency and channel bandwidth. © Sociedad Española de Óptica.
